ET Shed
Two captivating photos taken by volunteer Rudy Puerzer during a visit to East Troy in 1948 (when he was "but a sprig", in his own words). METW (ex-TM) freight motor M-15 is laying over on the "runaround" track in East Troy. The upper photo is taken from Church Street looking west. The old TM station agent residence is on the right, and the current-day East Troy Yard and shop is off in the distance around the curve. The track heading towards the camera's left is the Burlington Co-op spur. Today, the Co-op receives its agricultural materials at an unloading ramp on the Industrial Park spur, just north of the County ES crossing and adjacent to East Troy Cement.
